HAyden
ALmeraz

Hayden Almeraz is a high school student at The Dalton School in New York City, and a NOAA Ocean Guardian Youth Ambassador (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). In his ambassadorship role, Hayden’s mission is to cultivate and create initiatives that inspire the youth community to engage with the cause of ocean conservation and stewardship. Hayden’s belief in the power of storytelling to create connection and change inspired him to create “Art for Oceans”.

“Art for Oceans” opened on World Oceans Day in June 2024 and featured 25 pieces of youth art (ages 12-24) from 10 different countries around the globe, each piece was hand-selected by Hayden for its potential in telling an impactful ocean advocacy story.
